| CRA's Role in Elections | | Founded as a grass-roots activist organization, the California Republican Assembly has a long history of involvement and success with election campaigns. Former President Reagan praised CRA saying, "it’s hard to imagine my campaigns being anywhere near as successful as they were without the dedication of CRA’s members.

| CRA Election Activity
The California Republican Assembly released its list of official endorsements for the June Primary election. Included are offices from Congress to local Republican Central Committee seats. Endorsements are done by local CRA units, and not all units have had their endorsing meetings. The list will be updated as local units report their endorsements.

Orange County’s Ayres Hotel and Suites, located in Costa Mesa, will be host to CRA’s annual convention, April 25-27. The three day event will feature some of California’s most prominent elected officials including Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner, Board of Equalization Member Michelle Steel, Congressman Ed Royce, and many Assemblymembers, Senators and local officials. |

The California Republican Assembly has endorsed State Senator Tom McClintock for Congress in the 4th Congressional District. The CRA, a statewide grassroots organization, designated by Ronald Reagan as the conscience of the Republican Party, can now dedicate its substantial resources to electing Tom McClintock to Congress. |
